Overview

The Seven Churches of Asia Minor, located in modern-day Turkey, are pivotal sites in early Christian history, mentioned in the Book of Revelation. These churches are Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. Each church had its unique characteristics and challenges. Ephesus was known for its grand ruins and early Christian community; Smyrna faced persecution; Pergamum held the "Throne of Satan"; Thyatira was famous for its dye industry; Sardis was a once-great city now in decline; Philadelphia was noted for its faithfulness; and Laodicea was criticized for its lukewarmness. These sites reflect the rich historical and spiritual heritage of early Christianity.

Itinerary

Arrive at Istanbul Airport.
Meet and greet by a representative holding a sign with your name.
Private transfer to your hotel.
Check in to the hotel.
Evening: Proceed to the port for a boat trip on the Bosphorus.
Overnight stay in Istanbul.

After breakfast, drive to Pergamum (Bergama), one of the Seven Churches of Asia.
Explore the Acropolis, the steepest theatre in the world.
Visit the Asklepion, an ancient medical center.
See the Altar of Zeus, mentioned as the "Throne of Satan" in the Book of Revelation.
View the marble columns of the Temple of Trajan and the ancient Library, which rivaled Alexandria's Library.
Continue to Thyatira (Akhisar), another site of the Seven Churches of Asia.
Visit the remains of a basilica and Roman architectural fragments.
Learn about Lydia, the seller of purple, who was from Thyatira.
Enjoy a panoramic ride through Smyrna (Izmir), the third-largest city in Turkey and a site of the Seven Churches of Asia.
See the Clock Tower.
Check in at the hotel in Izmir. Overnight stay in Izmir.

Depart early in the morning to Sardis (Sart), one of the Seven Churches of Asia.
Explore Sardis, the ancient capital of the Lydian kingdom.

Full refund may be issued if services cannot be fulfilled due to technical reasons.
Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
Visa application facilitation is provided, but the granting of the visa is at the embassy's discretion. No refund is given for visa rejection or delay.
Hotels may require an advance/security deposit at check-in, refundable at check-out minus charges for items taken from the mini-bar or other additional charges.
Cost and tickets for attractions for children are based on their age at the time of booking.
